Assemblymember-elect Tom Ammiano vows to join with his colleagues in Sacramento and say to the Governor, "you may be a movie star and you may be an action hero, but we're going to kick your ass on this one, pal."

An Orange County judge resigned after a California's Commission on Judicial Review found that the judge failed to disclose, before hearing a tenant/landlord case, that he was himself a landlord. The judge had previously been admonished for using the court's resources to conduct his private business as a landlord.
