I was evicted by Summary Judgement for "illegal use" by a new landlord who set out on a campaign to evict me the day they bought the building.

The new landlord at this residence is a slumlord. He does not maintain the premises, pool routinely shut down by health dept, he illegally mandates increases in both rent and security deposits, does illegal construction on premises, caught dumping caustic pool chemicals to the public street, implemented reduced tenant access to onsite resources, shuts off plumbing routinely without prior notice, and evicts tenants who cause him any form of problem when they stand up for their rights.

I have been evicted from my home for non payment of rent but what seems to be so damn funny is i have residential ledger and my money order reciepts stating that their was a payments and on those money order wrote payment for rent. I been here for 15 months and before recieving notice fromof eviction i just found out that theh were charging me outrages amounts there were hidden charges of every kind im a single parent living in a city no family.

The tenants here at Vinage Palms Apartment have been enduring horrendous coditions for years. He has been cited by code enforcement numerous times but egnores the sanctions and the order for abatement. The has gotten recent media attention on kmir6 and the Desert Sun.. aWe got the City involved and opened cases with Fair Housing. We have requested the help of City Hall in Indio. They are still violating a State law by contiuing to collect rents and issue Three day notices and this is a violation of California Civil Code 1942.4.

My landlord/representative came to collect rent check. He wasps agitated and forced entry and committed Battery. ( was sited by Sheriff's Dept) I had sustained multiple bruises and contusions. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac,bought all the bundled up junk mortgages from the banks. They are actually the ones doing the evictions. Now, I am not a conspiracy theory guy, but a realist. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are manipulating the market by withholding inventory. They are not only evicting homeowners, but tenants of income properties and not re-renting, or selling the property.
