Housing conditions/habitability

I moved into a home that was filthy, The front yard was filled with dangerous debri and fire hazards. The property management group instructed me to "disperse the debri over 10 acres". The property apparently was used for a marijuana grow house. The electricity wires are carelessly wired to the box. The management waited 6 months to clean out the marijuana and the growing chemicals from our shed. We have had nothing but plumbing issues since we arrived only 7 months ago. The management refuses to address.

My husband, daughter and myself had a fixed lease dated 1/12/12 to rent a section of the home that was illegaly made into a duplex and ended up with a gas leak that wasnt even fixrd. On 6/28/13 the property sold just shy of being auctioned we never met new owner still to this day. Sept. 2013 i told old landlord i wont pay him to comtact new owner....never did, in Dec 2013 old landlord shows up with a man claiming to be brother of new owner no papers to prove it. They asked or told just us not other tenants to move out by Jan 2, 2014 on Dec 30, 13.

The landlord has illegal units that he has worked on and added units without permits. The apartments have not been kept up unless there has been problems like flooding and such. The unit that was made into an apartment most recently was made out of a tool shack. There is no insulation and the unit is very cold. The landlord complains about the electricity costs but none of the units are insulated. There is an electric cord running from the main house on the ground to provide electricity to the shack. They charge 800 for the unit.

Hello so we live in a complex of 8 units/apartments they are old and small we have been dealing with the landlord/owner of the complex we are the longest tenants who have lived here and let me say not by choice we want to move but have learned its very hard to get your deposit back not due to things youve done but due to the neglect of the owner/landlords failure to fix issues in your unit then turnes around and uses it as it being your foult that things are not in good condition we have seen it happen to many other tenants while we have been here and know that it to will happen to us too w

I am 53 and have been on SSDI for over a decade. My landlord of eight years was informed of my disabilities prior to my moving into a 10 unit complex for seniors, handicap, and disabled tenants.
