I fell down a rear building staircase. There was absolutely no lighting. I have scrapes and bruises and ankle swelling ,back pain. Worries about going forward to landlord. They are known for sneaky retaliation. Don't want back lash problems. What
should i do? I hurt all over. We really do need that staircase and parking area lights replaced

I'm not sure what to put here. We moved into our new home with good intentions. We have always been good Tenants. Every home we have lived in, we have made better than we left it. As a Contractor, i have always made repairs, improvements, and upgrades to the home we have stayed, often at our own expense. What can i say, our Landlords have loves us. But with current Housing market, many have fallen to foreclosure and other problems. Why we have never bought a home i don't know. We spent 6 years in our last 2 bedroom home, but realized we needed something larger.

I was transferred for a job to the South Bay. I found an apartment in a triplex and the landlord & I came to an agreement, and I paid him a deposit of $2300 the next day. I signed a 2 year lease soon after. The move-in date was 3/1/2015. I have been traveling back & forth from state to state to wrap up my old house, pack, etc. I moved a few things into the new apt. A futon, a few clothes, nothing more. I stayed 1 night on 3/4/15. At that time I noticed the water was running yellow from the kitchen sink.

The building was sold in December of 2014. The previous owner sold our private personal information to this so-called new owner without our permission and the new owner came in and raised our rent more than 50-60% in 30 days. All then tenants have resided in this building over a year. The new owner harassed me and made my life difficult when I asked him to give us 60 days for the rent increase. I've had to put a restraining order against him and his relatives. Now, I'm paying almost double for the apartment which is filtered with terminates and a host of other issues.

Hi I a re tented a single family home up stairs 2 bed 1 bath with owner living downstairs. The rent is 1750$ + utilities 100$ With 1 year lease agreement. After moving with in a week I got message from owner to not use AC as they will get high power bill. And 2 months later I got mail that they are gonna increase rent immediately to 2150 saying the utilities bill increased. As per agreement it's only 100$ but asking for 400$ in utilities, breaking the lease agreement.

My name is Ilene mother of two children, daughter 4, son 6, my spouse and my service dog. My current situation/status as of 02/20/2015, Homeless! After 5 long years of renting from a large apartment complex owned by a very large corporation, my family and I spent the holidays packing. In august of 2012 I had moved from one side of Coralaire Apts., to a larger 2 bd apt., in the same complex. I had noticed off the back that something just wasn't right, the smell, the discoloration of areas around and under kitchen sinks and certain walls.

My husband and I moved into our house with our sons back in 2011. At the time of the walk through I had asked when the house would be cleaned as layers of dust covered the inside there was an obvious issue with mold in the master bath the and all the rooms with linoleum flooring had some kind of issue as the linoleum was not sealed at doors and so forth. They said it had been cleaned and no one was coming to clean again.

My landlord just underwent mold remediation in our unit. They have failed to provide us with the lab results despite my partner having cancer and our right to know the toxins we have been exposed to. They ignore our requests for furniture replacement and rent deduction.

My husband and I and are 16year old child have lived in our house for 3years and in Aug. this man came to are home with a 3 day pay are quite saying we were all mosted 2 years behide in rent tell us he was are landlords partener we have never meet him before so we went to court and won that case in set.
