We are a tenant with a bona fide lease in a home that was sold at aution to and investment company. They have been trying to evict us since the day after the sale(2weeks before they got title). How do we stop these investment companies from filing inproper UD with the courts and scare tactics. I thought the law should protect us, how are they still getting away with this? They have now filed a 2nd UD and we now have court and attorney fees that continue to add up. Both UD's were filed only weeks after purchase. I thought a UD cannot be filed until the 91st day. They are completely ignoring the law and continue with their scare tactics. Who can we go to to get these people to stop the illegal games they continue to play? Our lease is through Dec. 2013 and we provided them a copy multiple times, but continue to ignore.
