Private Landlord -- No Rent Control

I have advised my onsite manager of excessive moisture and mold previously and it was brushed off, and I was advised to keep my windows cracked. Recently a new onsite manager started and I again notified them of excessive moisture. She came to inspect and found several issues, non-working bathroom ventilation fan, excessively leaking windows (even if cracked), a wall that is warped from moisture and a wall unit AC that needed replacement. A private contractor came to inspect a couple of days later and that same day my manager called to tell me I had to move to another unit. When I asked if they would pay the moving costs she initially said NO. However I pushed back and now they have come back and agreed to pay "partial" moving expenses. I am pregnant, with a toddler, cannot afford to pay for moving costs, and when I let her know that was not possible, I was told I would then have 30 days to vacate.
I feel as if I am being retaliated against for complaining of mold. My son and I have both been sick quite often, and last winter my son was even on a nebulizer (breathing machine). I cant seem to get any straight answers from anyone as to what my rights are. But I know that the apartment must be inhabitable or they would not be forcing the move, so why am I required to pay a dime?
