Owner/landlord is retaliating against me because of an accident on his/my rental property.A guest of mine was visiting and had a serious almost fatal accident that was deemed willful and gross negligence on the owners part. The guard rails on my deck over the open water had been painted over to disguise the rotted out almost completly gutted wood rails, also not to code.At that time I did not know. He fell almost 14 feet below onto partial a concrete/water area when he leaned back onto it.It easily gave way and down he went. He is alive barely. His neck broken, severe head trauma,lacerations of the head,had to have brain (neurosurgery),broken ribs, broken foot knee cap,broken toes torn ligaments in his back,knee legs, rib cage,arm and to many others to mention. His life is forever changed and his mothers too since he was her care giver.Now an attorney is taking on this case in court for restitution etc.for him, but I and my 3 children lose our home! The landlord wants me and my 3 small children gone! He's made death threats and the sheriff tell me I need to move and that the chances I have to take when I rent! Really! This man Has resorted to everything imaginable. Spying on me with cameras,having neighbors report to him who and when I have guests to him! he shut off my a/c,he's entering without me being home, looking through my office papers,drawers,cabinets,bedrooms,bathrooms, leaving cigerette butts on the garage floor,watering without permission just to hang out there all day,comes over any time he wants, telling my neighbors I'm a drug dealer,drug addict,and a looser, a child abuser and calling CP Services on me He says it's because I'm divorced and my family are losers.The neighbors told me and can't stand the man.I HAVE PAID MY RENT! I have receipts for it! He put a 3 day pay or quit on my door the day he cashed the rent check!
Tomorrow morning is my court date. I have much more evidence about his retaliation. He is also not occuping the house and it's in a re-fi position at this point. The banks say you have to be living in your primary home to refinance it!Im sure there are many other legal reasons he's trying to get me and my family out. We don't have the money to move again. How can people sleep at night when they KNOW how wrong they are? I'm currently looking for another home, but paid my rent and can't afford to move yet. I hope the judge will pay attention to my case and see why he's doing this... FEAR of losing his "many homes"is due to this lawsuit against him for the fall injury of my friend.
I pray God sees my heart and this landlords heart also.
