On December 30th, 2016  Richmond, CA's new rent control and just cause protections will go into effect. We need to ensure that tenants in Richmond at risk of eviction know of these protections and have access to the resources to understand them.

Artist live/work spaces ARE COVERED under the new just cause ordinance. Tenants in spaces that have a residential purpose must recieve proper notice and a valid reason for eviction under the just cause ordinance. The new law will be key in protecting all tenants in Richmond, CA.
