New Ordinance Amendment Regarding Written Disclosure of Tenant Rights

The Board of Supervisors passed and the Mayor has signed Ordinance No. 33-08,
which goes into effect April 16, 2008. The ordinance adds subsection
37.9(j) to the Rent Ordinance to require sellers and purchasers to give
tenants written disclosure of certain tenant rights before and after
the sale of rental property.
