I went in to sign a rental agreement month to month with my husband, the manager had told us 3 weeks before we would get the apartment we gave 1060 first month rent and 1060 for the deposit. The agreement was made to move in may 1,2014, I had sold my car ,gotten my furniture,the assistant calls me 5 days ago saying she cant give it to me because it didnt pass inspection and she didnt know how much it would take even told me to go shopping,and to go for my money.My mom happens to live in front of the apartment and there are people already moved in. My next door neighboor knows by friend the maintenance that fixed the aparment he said it passed inspection and they had given the keys to someone else, the same day the assistant called me. I dont know what to do, the apartment is not ready I have pictures and there are people already moved in. I gave my 30 day notice where I currently reside I feel so incapable. I am 21 have a 2 year old daughter.
