This man and his wife have to be the worst landlords I have ever met. They promise to do work and never show up. The house is in disrepair. The two guys who live next to the house sell drugs and are on them. This was supposed to be an upperscale neighborhood. Well no more. These people would bang pots and pans in the middle of the night and tap on my bedroom wall. They actually came in the house while I was at work. This was so frightening. My dog was beat up by this jerk who came and went as he pleased. I believe he is also a drug dealer but hey no one in California cares.

Informed my landlord of a Mold/asbestos problem; amongst other health and safety hazards, he refused to do anything about it, after 2 weeks of living in the apartment ( I also have a 5 year daughter and pregnant) I eventually collapsed and was hospitalized. While I was hospitalized my slumlord had done a self help eviction and literally threw all of my belongings in the garage, changed all of my locks cleaned up any sign of mold, changed the carpet, and reposted my place on Craigslist. I lost everything I own, including any and all pictures and documents of my daughters and mine.

prior landlord and current takes from my deposit money they have to pay the Rent Board. I find it strange I have to pay the rent board. Out of $700. there is very little left. Also I do not think he is aware but taking to much for interest when asking for a raise

In January of 2012 my partner and I entered into a residential lease agreement to rent a bungalow style cottage in a quickly gentrifying section of Hollywood, known by it's residents as "East Hollywood" in an attempt to associate the neighborhood with the quality and conditions found in it's neighbor to the west, West Hollywood. Unfortunately, after signing the lease the numerous repairs and rehab issues which were on-going and promised to be completed before move in were suddenly stopped without notice.

In a year and half I have rented 3 homes in which all 3 have gone into forclouser. The first house was excusable, but the second we only lived there 10 months and with the landlord knowing that we had just come from a forclosed home we made it clear that we did not want to go through this. That didnt seem to matter because 10 months later we were moving again. We did not get our deposit back, we took the landlords to court and won however never got our money from them.

In March of 2009 I rented an apartment at VintageWood in Fresno, California. I paid my monthly rent. I then graduated from the local University and began applying for work. I found two places of employment…on for three weeks and the other a distance from my apartment. I began to work at the second job and was gone from the apartment for 5 days at a time. My roommate was a young adult who was of age. He had friends who came to visit when I was out of town. I visited on my days off.
