Terminating my tenancy for no reason after 10 years of paying my rent on time at a senior apartment. Not returning my phone calls and direct manager says it is out of her hands. Causing stress and chest pains and a complete hardship to move. They say I have no rights but this is a federally subsidized facility.

I was picketing outside of senior apts.Now manager have lied an said that I go around assulting tenants and employees to not only get me out of here but also to get me to lose my SECTION 8. I will be out in the streets with my dogs because no one is going to rent to me with what they have put on paper. I have no money for a lawyer.

The trailer my mom and I live in has mold very bad last winter we were both hospitalized 4 time each with pneumonia. my mom got section 8 last month so we can move but we only have our fixed incomes and we can't come up with deposit money and pay our rent. we need help bad. my mom is a senior. Im scared that if we can't find help I may loose her

We had a fire in our apartment that started in the next door neighbors apartment and spread through our apartment. The fire started due to a propane BBQ that got our of control. We lost most of possessions and our animals in the fire. The apartment complex said that they could get us into another apartment but that we would have to pay another deposit and that our rent would roll over to the new apartment. I wanted to know about having to pay rent for the days that we have not been living there and also about having to pay another deposit for the new apartment.

I have rented for over 20 yrs. New property mngrs for the last 8. They have been trying to get me out all 8 yrs. First giving me three day notice that rent wasn't received. I always pay rent on time. They charged me $35 more than even the best units were paying for 2 yrs.I had lived there the longest. When I asked them why? answer was It's what the market can handle or it's all the upgrades then put me on hold then would hang up. Never got upgrades or an answer. I started paying them the same rent as same units were paying, $35 dollars less, and received another 3 day notice.

In April of 2013 I signed a 12 month lease for an apartment. My security deposit was $1520, which included a $500 pet security deposit. Rent was $1020, which included a $25 pet rent. In the middle of May 2013, my boyfriends car was broken into while parked in the parking lot for tenants, there was over $2000 in damage, thankfully we only had to pay our $500 deductible to fix it. We informed the management and filed a police report. Managements response was that we should park in the covered parking spot(we were only assigned 1, though we have 2 cars).

The new landlord at this residence is a slumlord. He does not maintain the premises, pool routinely shut down by health dept, he illegally mandates increases in both rent and security deposits, does illegal construction on premises, caught dumping caustic pool chemicals to the public street, implemented reduced tenant access to onsite resources, shuts off plumbing routinely without prior notice, and evicts tenants who cause him any form of problem when they stand up for their rights.

I have been evicted from my home for non payment of rent but what seems to be so damn funny is i have residential ledger and my money order reciepts stating that their was a payments and on those money order wrote payment for rent. I been here for 15 months and before recieving notice fromof eviction i just found out that theh were charging me outrages amounts there were hidden charges of every kind im a single parent living in a city no family.

We signed a lease in 2008; paid a security deposit; the house went into foreclosure in 2009; we signed a new lease with the buyer in 2009 and paid an additional security deposit-we are moving out soon; is he obligated to refund our initial deposit from the 2008 lease?
