Security deposits

I was homeless for almost a year and then spent the last year in an apartment in an extremely dangerous area to have a roof over my head. I have found a wonderful room to rent but am $200 short for a security deposit. I desperately need help. I just want to feel safe again! Please any help would be beyond appreciated. If it required being paid back, I would be 100% OK with that! Please I am praying endlessly for help!

Disconnected 08-00-00 anyways i tried calling my landlord about the fact that even tho it was a breach of.contract on his behalf confirming that the lease stated Owner or landlord is responsible for water, sewer, trash and landscaping

Landlord has taken no action to improve property and when I requested the improvements be made she did not renew my lease and I've been forced to move. She is now taking actions to keep my deposit of nearly $6,000.00. I am looking for help.

2 years back, I use to live in am apartment called Waterford Apartment. When we gave them noticed of moving out due to contract ends and the choice we had was month to month. My last payment was a cashiers check with the amount of $ 1399. This month I was looking for a place to live and the credit shows we owed the apartment that's causing us to not qualified. So I called the collection and discuss to them the matter and I ask for the ledger from the time I lived there.

June 06 2014 I started becoming weak,trouble breathing at times {1st episode 7.5 weeks long & high steroids were required}I had in Feb & March had biopsies from my mouth confirm,Severe ulcerative lichen planus}.Over all of the past year our Sierra Apts Corp. and we ask to have recently Feb 2015 the owner of the Corp. notified to help us out of our lease,without penalties and to be month to month until husband is working & off of FMLA as all sick leave,& vacation had been exausted.

After a small difference of opinion the landlord & tenant declared I must immediately vacate with what I can carry. He has stolen property worth $2500+ in addition he has kept my deposit thus far. No rent agreement copy was provided. No rent receipts although I asked consistently for them and even provided prefigured templates ones for his verification and endorsement.

I have lived in my apartment for more than 7 years. When i moved in i did not have a pet but got 2 within a month or 2. I paid a pet deposit at the time I brought them home. 2 years later the apartment complex sold. The new owners have hadve owned this place for 5 years now. They have just told me that there isnt a record of any pet deposit. I paid $150.00 for all 7 years ago. They said if i cannot provide proof then i must pay $300.00 per animal,i have 3. These animals were here when the new owners took over. And why after 5years suddenly tell me this?

My roommates and I moved out of our rental house at the beginning of July 2014. We received our security deposit but were not able to deposit it for a few weeks. When we finally deposited it I received a call from the bank saying the check did not go through due to insufficient funds. I emailed my landlord and requested a new check be sent right away. She sad she had cancelled the check but failed to notify us about it. She said we should be receiving our check by the end of October. By the end of October we still had not received our security deposit.

recently moved do to $600 a month increase don't feel safe at night when I get home do to the fact I have to park two blocks or at the other street and my rent is more than I can afford since I only get ssa and I was told my rent would increase. going trough this daily is affecting my health

The response of the apartment management to my request for two more months reasonable accommodation and a doctor's letter (validating Lyme and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and the complication of fatigue in making a quick move) was as follows:

I came home to two notices, both clearly stating that the manager, assistant manager, or head maintenance will be doing an initial inspection on the 8th in two days. My move out date is not until 2/9.
