Retaliation/harassment

I am going to court on Dec.20 which means if i loose i will be put out in the street on Christmas day.I am disabled and have no family in CA to help me.Leagal aid wrote up my response for the unlawful detainer and had my court fees waived, but then they said we can't go to court with you they didn't even know the date yet but said they had no one available to go with me. I went to my first tenants together meeting last mth and they helped me alot and i'm going on the 19th but i don't think they will have anyone to go to court with me i called them and then missed their callback.

I'm a San Francisco native, I grew up in the Richmond District and had always assumed that I would live my whole life in San Francisco, but I was a single mom, working full time for low wages as only single moms know, and I found myself having to get out of a bad relationship and the other one wouldn't leave didn't want to split up and the flat was in my name, but he wouldn't leave. I searched and searched and no one would rent to me because I had a child. They kept lying to me that San Francisco was not a suitable place for children, which I knew was BS, because I grew up here.

I lived with my 13 & 14 year old children, and due to recent budget cuts to HUD I was forced to down-size from a 3 bdrm to a 2 bdrm, unless I could pay the rent increase which was to go from $144. to $741. per month. Being on a fixed monthly income of 1000., I knew I would not be able to pay the rent, so I was given a 30 day notice to terminate my tenancy. During my move, I informed the landlord that I had no more room in my 20x20 storage space for my property, but that I would return for the remainder of my things.

Summary of facts:
Many of the people in the smaller farming communities are renters. Most of them do not speak, read or write English. Yet their rental agreements are written in a language which they cannot read, and in terms they do not comprehend.

I have been living at my present apt. going on 3 years now. The first year was very pleasant, but since they have gotten new case managers my living situation has become a total Hell. It started when I started asking for repairs to be made in my apt. There is holes and loose fixtures in the floor and ceiling. Then my neighbors started harassing me, I complained about the noise and the banging of the walls they were doing and I also called the housing authority and told them that my apt. was not being repaired.

i wrote to the president obama and then sent e-mails to local tv stations telling them about people laying up here dead so now they are evicting me for cursing the security for banging on my door after 9pm. they had the eviction drawn up while i was having surgery to see if i had stomache cancer have 2nd surger 11/13/13 i am mentally and physically disabled and am supposed to be out by nov 20. i have no where to go i talked to a lawyer he wants 700$ i live on ssi and ssa i don't have 700 bucks laying around.

Discrimination complaint

A 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran and only section 8 tenant in the 4 unit complex. Less than 6 months ago I was living next door to Robert.

I was unemployed for approximately 1 year and having trouble making rent so I took in a woman to share the apartment.

The new landlord brought the house then requested that we send them a rental agreement then we emailed it then they said they did not received it . After that a week 2 weeks passed and we began to move our furniture out then about a week later we got a 90. Day notice 4 days days later the realtor company showed up at door with sheriff we where forced to get out immediately and not take anything , one officer yelled out its not anymore gov't then my sister sat in jail on trespassing on closed land.
