I lost my home of 15 yrs in Ceres in 2008. Moved into a rental in Modesto,Ca. till March 2011 when the landlord foreclosed on the home while taking rent from us. We had to move. My wife and I with our two sons, entered a rental agreement of a 3 bedroom,2 bath home in April 2011 in Ceres,Ca. from a senior couple. Those familiar with the public school system,in order for my kids to remain with their classmates, we have to live in a certain district. So this home was in the district we needed. A very nice home in a court.1100 deposit, 1100 per month.

We rented a place for parking my 6 cars, not for the house and this was talked about and agreed apon. To add the mans statement of do whatever you want I mean I will come by said it would be nice to put up a car port and or shed due to no garage my husband myself and Mr. A signed my husband written contact. He had mentioned his wife in conversation he married a strong america women they are in there 60s and 70s had few plumping matters I fixed two last one was enough to inform him and offer our help. My husband met them that day with plumper appt.

Our landlord's behavior toward my wife and me has been uniquely egregious. I'll share some highlights here for brevity; you might want to call me for specifics, because I believe our experiences and how we've responded to our landlord's actions may be of great help to your readers. Summary: In Oct. 2011, my wife and I entered into a 3-year residential lease agreement with a private landlord.

This case is on appeal in 2014 for the second time.

we downsized from a house to an apartment to save money on rent and utilities. The first week in the water heater leaked all over the floor. Supposedly it was replaced with a new one but I think that was not the case because when I saw my electric bill it was three times higher than it ever was at the homes I had rented. When I told the landlord something must be wrong with the electrical they said its our problem to figure out.

I have rented for over 20 yrs. New property mngrs for the last 8. They have been trying to get me out all 8 yrs. First giving me three day notice that rent wasn't received. I always pay rent on time. They charged me $35 more than even the best units were paying for 2 yrs.I had lived there the longest. When I asked them why? answer was It's what the market can handle or it's all the upgrades then put me on hold then would hang up. Never got upgrades or an answer. I started paying them the same rent as same units were paying, $35 dollars less, and received another 3 day notice.

I was evicted by Summary Judgement for "illegal use" by a new landlord who set out on a campaign to evict me the day they bought the building.

In April of 2013 I signed a 12 month lease for an apartment. My security deposit was $1520, which included a $500 pet security deposit. Rent was $1020, which included a $25 pet rent. In the middle of May 2013, my boyfriends car was broken into while parked in the parking lot for tenants, there was over $2000 in damage, thankfully we only had to pay our $500 deductible to fix it. We informed the management and filed a police report. Managements response was that we should park in the covered parking spot(we were only assigned 1, though we have 2 cars).

my wife nad I moved into our rental home in February, 2014. After a few weeks, our youngest daughter came over, with our pets, who were living with our daughter because this rental did not allow pets, when the gardener notice them and subsequently, informed the property manaegement company. We had informed the property manager of the property that the pets were over the home on this one particular day, however, the pets were not living with us in the residence.

the manager came to my door told me that i was to remove myself from our apartment by friday or my family would be evicted then she told my lady that if i removed myself from the lease that she would leave my family alone i am a stay at home dad manager said when my lady not here i can't be the rent is paid on time never wrote up no parties my children are 3 and 5 i can't let anyone come to my place she has been in my place yelling at my friend in my apartment saying that he was stupid how did he get a licence and just very rude now this i don't have money for attorney this has been so hard
