Tenants and their supporters rallied in front of 1049 Market Street on November 12, demanding that landlord John Gall withdraw eviction notices for the building. Gall wants to convert residentially occupied units at 1049 Market to offices, a move that would displace tenants and reverse progress toward revitalizing Mid-Market. It’s the residents who keep the street alive after office workers leave, which is why the city is trying to increase housing in the area.

Both my husband and I were hired to manage as onsite managers when the owner sold the park 8 months later the new owner hired a management company to handle the account. 10 months later when the owner visited the park she asked how were things going with the management company we gave her our input we told her how the management company provided no training to us neither the necessary tools needed. She passed this on to the trustees and the management they became upset and began to harass and retaliate against both my husband and I pushing til we felt forced to leave.
After a harrowing 2 years due to the fires, greedy landlords, and being forced out on streets. I found myself in the crisis stabilization unit in Santa Rosa after a suicide attempt . My fear of being homeless is more than I can bear. Two years later I thought I had found the perfect home in Cotati and I could afford the rent after living with my mother in a converted garage for nearly nine months. The woman that rented me a room for lived in a HUD home off of East Cotati.
Landlord sent death threatens to me and my family regarding the loss of $200 or money he lost. He harassed my family constantly for rent afterwards and changed the locks when we were late a few times on rent . He threthen to throw our belongings outside in trash bags and entered our rental two times without giving proper notice. All these events are documented in messages between myself and my landlord via Facebook messenger.

I asked my landlord to fix the electricity in the kitchen which kept going out and he refused. Then he raised my rent 29%. A month later he gave me a 60 day notice to vacate. He refuses to answer my texts, calls or letters. I am going to be homeless at Christmas as I have no one to turn to. The 60 day notice was taped to my front door by a law firm he obtained. I am not late on rent and have taken good care of the
Tonight (or this morning) we are in the process of packing up our house of the last 10 nearly 11 months. A house that we have loved and nurtured and brought from being the ugly duckling to beauty. A house we thought would be our home for a long time. But our landlord had other ideas and midstream decided to evict us, suggesting not a 30 day eviction but a 10 day eviction...and that is how this started - it started earlier than in July, it started even before we moved in but we didn't see the manipulative and calculated behavior she has. The reason she evicted us is because she claims s
