Eviction Clinic for San Diego County Courts

Mosbrucker & Foran

The law firm of Mosbrucker & Foran specializes in lawsuits involving wrongful evictions, Costa-Hawkins disputes and other excessive rent increases, illegal rental units, landlord harassment, and substandard living conditions.

Most of the work we do for tenants is on a contingency fee basis. This means we don’t get paid until and unless you get paid, in which case we get a percentage of the total recovery. This only applies where the tenant is initiating a lawsuit in Superior Court.

Causa Justa :: Just Cause

We are a housing & immigrant rights organization in SF and Oakland. We have a Tenant Rights Clinic in both cities and help low-income Spanish speaking tenants in the SF office. In the Oakland office we serve low-income tenants who reside in Oakland. The Tenant Rights Clinics helps tenants with issues they have with their landlord, such as evictions, repairs, harassment, illegal rent increases.

My Story is that I requested to have a service animal and was treated like dirt, the company Eden Housing, Management never responded I filed a HUD complaint and let me tell you HUD does not help residents in need, they side with the big management companies and make you feel like you have just been hit by a truck or bus, however since filing a complaint I have been harassed and retaliated againt, they have come into my apartment without giving me a 24 hour notice, my recertifications have not been done on time and I tried contacting CAHI and they have been no help even thought the company

I rented a 2br apt from JD Home Rentals in Fresno, CA. I lived there for 5 years; always paying my rent on time. Always. If it were not for the low rent, I would never live in such a horrible place managed by such horrible, unlawful, and flat out uncaring individuals; including and especially their attorney. If I were to list all of the ways they "wronged" me, I might as well be writing a novel(non-fiction, of course). There were mice and cockroaches; many, many cockroaches. I complained many times to deaf ears.

Denise

Brought to the attention of my manger and the management company that my kitchen floors has spongy floors and has a speed bump in it. After she brought in 2 contractors i was told it was a huge expensive job and she didnt know what to do with me. One day i was able to get into the area below my unit and it was horrible, black mold growing everyhwere, ceilings collapsing, insulation showing everywhere and a big pipe that wasnt just dripping, it was running like a faucet.
