A nonprofit agency providing landlords and tenants with confidential counseling for all rental housing questions:

  • evictions
  • privacy
  • right to entry
  • retaliation
  • rent increases

The program also provides confidential counseling and investigation of housing discrimination complaints, referrals for legal assistance, and community education on fair housing laws.

East Bay Housing Organizations

East Bay Housing Organizations (EBHO) is a 27-year-old membership non-profit organization, founded in 1984, dedicated to working with communities in Alameda and Contra Costa counties to preserve, protect and expand affordable housing opportunities through education, advocacy, and coalition building. 
 
We have a tenant organizing program but currently only organize tenants of non-profit or publicly owned affordable housing.
 
EBHO is not a direct service provider. We are a membership-based advocacy organization.

RG09481107 Alameda County Superior Court Judge August 25, 2010, takes matter off calendar; Property Asset Management, Inc vs Brown. Attorney David Endres got the property from Pite and Duncan Trust Account where the Original Trustor from 2001 Lisa Swain-Morris employed at Charles Swabb had purchased the building in HUD Loan; it was found later that lead based paint current today was on the building and in the yard too. There was a lease signed with Brian Coleman and children and Ami Brown.
