Paid rent on time for six years. The rent was much higher than what the place was worth. Landlord kept deposit after I moved out. The reason I moved was because the landlord wanted to move back in. When I moved in the place was mess but it seemed like the new landlord was a decent person so I didn't mind cleaning it up, etc. there were some things that I could not do in terms of repairs or remodeling because it Wes too much money. The landlord continually encouraged And even ask about me doing remodeling of the place.

My bf and I live in a large complex. There is a Sac Co. Housing Ord., that requires owners to register, take inspection course before marketing the unit; and unit was eventually cited for no heat, no cold water, inoperative lighting, electricity, roaches, mold, water intrusion in bath... the county housing authority just cited the owner and did nothing more.. we complained right when we moved in, after prepaying two months rent and deposit; LL would not refund, would not credit acct., did not offer another unit... was sued for ud and fighting abuse by attorney and judges...

We have been in a battle with an Investment company that purchased the home we have a lease on till Dec.2013. They have used every scare tactic, filed multiple UD's with the court and after losing, they still continue to ignore the Federal law, Tenant in foreclosure act. We have now spent thousands of dollars in the last 6months and are still continuing to fight for our rights. We are hoping to get our story out there and soon file a Class action lawsuit against this company. They use these same tactics on every property they acquire.

I have previously posted information about unethical and illegal actions from 2 different persons who have acted as my landlords at different times. The 2nd landlord bought the property at 8915 Caminito Vera in San Diego Ca at a foreclosure auction and then sued my roommate and me in an attempt to evict us. He lost his case, even though we mainly used information we obtained from Tenants Together and we represented ourselves in CA Superior Court in downtown San Diego.

My roommate and I signed a 2 year rental agreement. When we moved in, we found our landlord had left 2 sawhorses, some tools and a huge 12'x 4'x 1 1/2' above ground planter in our back yard. The huge, unsightly planter was leaned up against the building. These things ruined the look of our small yard area and it made much of the area we paid to rent totally unusable.

WE LIVE IN A HOME WITH A LEASE SINCE FEB 2011 THRU DEC 2013, HOUSE WAS SOLD AT A FORCLOUSER AUCTION TO A INVESTMENT COMPANY AND THEY WANT TO FLIP IT. THEY ARE POSTING NOTICES FILING UD NOW FOR 2ND TIME ONLY TO WASTE OUR MONEY WITH ATTORNEY. THIS GROUP RANCHO HORIZON LLC / GRIFFIN RESIDENTAL USE SCARE TACTICS , MIS DIRECTION AND MAKE PEOPLE SPNED MONY THEN CANCEL CASE AT LAST MINUTE ONLY TO FILE AGAIN TO COST MORE ON MY END. THESE CROOKS NEED TO BE STOPPED AND PUNISHED ! THERE LAWYER IS JUST AS BAD AS HE FILED A UD ON US AND THERE NAME WAS NOT EVEN ON THE TITLE YET !

Hello, My name is Jackie Blair, I am a widow and currently disabled because of a lung disease. I had to move out of my previous apartment because the landlord sold the property. I only get disability payments and my husbands small pension from Veterans Affairs, and I am on section 8 housing assistance. There was just not any safe places for me to move to, most were in crime ridden neighborhoods.

I rented a 2br apt from JD Home Rentals in Fresno, CA. I lived there for 5 years; always paying my rent on time. Always. If it were not for the low rent, I would never live in such a horrible place managed by such horrible, unlawful, and flat out uncaring individuals; including and especially their attorney. If I were to list all of the ways they "wronged" me, I might as well be writing a novel(non-fiction, of course). There were mice and cockroaches; many, many cockroaches. I complained many times to deaf ears.

I have been renting a mobile home on 11 acres for the last 7 years. I rented it in good faith from the landlord. Just recently, as a result of the well collapsing on the property, and the landlord do nothing to fix or repair it. Leaving us to obtain our own water for the last 11 months. Purchasing 55 gallon drums to transport the water & 250 gallon tanks to attach to the house to have running water. We paid our full rent the entire time as she kept demanding it. A call was made to Code Enforcement because the well had not been replaced.

RG09481107 Alameda County Superior Court Judge August 25, 2010, takes matter off calendar; Property Asset Management, Inc vs Brown. Attorney David Endres got the property from Pite and Duncan Trust Account where the Original Trustor from 2001 Lisa Swain-Morris employed at Charles Swabb had purchased the building in HUD Loan; it was found later that lead based paint current today was on the building and in the yard too. There was a lease signed with Brian Coleman and children and Ami Brown.
