San Francisco Housing Authority (SFHA)

A primary goal of the San Francisco Housing Authority is to provide housing for low-income households, while integrating housing and economic opportunities for residents and maintaining high standards of property management, fiscal management and service delivery. The mission of the Authority is achieved through collaboration with residents and the greater community emphasizing teamwork, mutual respect, integrity and accountability.

POWER is an organization that unites working class families, youth, and tenants to achieve economic, racial, and gender justice through organization and empowerment. POWER’s work changes the conditions and policies that exploit and displace our families and communities, by influencing policy to win immigrant justice and responsible development that secures living wage employment, job security, affordable housing, and community services.
