i currently have a roommate who has physically attacked me, disrespects other roommates, has physically damaged the rental property, postures intimidatingly as if he may attack me again, constantly leaves food messes, runs drills and electric tools until 3 or 4 am, the landlord will do nothing because he and the landlords granddaughter have a child, now 3, together. The roommate and granddaughter are no longer together but the landlord does not want to do anything to lose her great granddaughter.

I lived in an apartment for over 10 years. Now that I have moved the apartmant complex has sent me a bill for damages. Since I lived there for over 10 years do I have to pay for damages that are over the cost of my security deposit?

I left some clothes into the common dryer inside the building. The maintenance staff trashed them without even reporting them to the manager. I want to be reimbursed.

ok, my friend and I live in a room that was built onto the back of a house.. there are 3 of these rooms with a bathroom in each. The kitchen is not connected with the house. The first thing is one day my friend and I were in his room relaxing and the landlord's wife knocked on the door and my friend said "hold on, I am half naked" and she said "I don't care" then kind of laughed, but walked right in and we both were speechless. Then she set an item that came in the mail for my friend.

landlord of San jose Ca University Apt located on 502 S. 4th street Phil Marquez charged my roommate and i for window cleaning and bathroom cleaning. When clearly when we moved in they were that bad. And the bathtub due to wear and tear gets worse over a 6 year duration. I contacted Phil politely to speak with him about clarifying the charges on our deposit. It states window/bath/kitchen =120 i asked him can you clarify each charge and he rudely said no i can't do that then went on yelling and verbally abusing me. Saying things like did you go to school why are you so stupid.

I used to live at 299 Carmel Ave #49, Marina CA 93933. It the Central Coast. I've gave my landlord a 30 day notice before I move out and my date of moving out is October 7, 2009. I drop off the keys in the mail and move to San Jose. I called her 1 1/2 weeks later and ask how much am I going to get from my deposit and she say the Maintenance guys haven't even work on the apartments yet. She never ask me about the pre inspection for move out. I didn't know anything about that move out until now.
