Our landlord's behavior toward my wife and me has been uniquely egregious. I'll share some highlights here for brevity; you might want to call me for specifics, because I believe our experiences and how we've responded to our landlord's actions may be of great help to your readers. Summary: In Oct. 2011, my wife and I entered into a 3-year residential lease agreement with a private landlord.

Since I've been here 5 years ago, this was my very first ap. And upon signing and taken him at his word. I found roaches, spiders, and stains of what I believe to be mold. My stove went out last year, it took four months to get another one. and when the a/c went out knowing how long it took for a stove, im on heat meds, so home depot was my best bet. I gave him back his free on craigslist a/c

When I moved into my condo it needed alot of repairs. The repairs included: non working heat/air unit, no working fire alarms, painting/walls were badly soiled, and patio storage filled with all sorts of junk left from former tenant. The landlord agreed to credit the work. After moving in, discovered that the heat/air unit did not work, and didnt realize that there was no hood or venilation for over stove. When there's smoke from kitchen must open window. A few months after moving in I lost my good paying job, and fell behind 2 months in partial rent.
