New dramatic "Yes on 98" radio ads draw on fear of eminent domain, but fail to mention that Proposition 98 would abolish rent control. Representatives of AARP, League of Women Voters of California, senior, and tenant organizations issued a "Fraud Alert" to California voters yesterday, warning them that Proposition 98 would abolish rent control and other renter protections if it passes.
