My issue is more general and a common frustration among people like myself, who make too much money to qualify for "affordable housing" but not enough to afford the rising rents.
my issue/question is when is what is considered low income going to be re-evaluated. If you make more than 46k a year you are more than low income, you are poverty in the bay area. I feel as though affordable housing should be affordable to all income brackets. but it seems as though "low income" people are the only ones considered. if you make 60k a year it is still hard to find a place that is affordable. our system is set up for the haves and the have nots. but not for the people in between.
