Community Legal Information Center

The Community Legal Information Center (CLIC)  is a student-run, non-profit organization that has been providing legal information to students and community members for over 40 years.  Free legal information is offered in 11 areas of the law, including housing. 

The CLIC Housing Law advocacy provides free legal information regarding tenant-landlord relations. This program helps people obtain the information they need to adequately represent themselves. This information can involve, but is not limited to:

  • habitability concerns
  • leases and rental agreements
  • payment disputes
  • discrimination
  • maintenance
  • security deposits
  • evictions
  • landlord and tenant responsibilities
  • and mobile home law.
