To return to their residence and their families. To be able to spend quality time with their love ones. Citizens should have rent control in any government subsidized property. Citizens who pays a mortgage should be able to have mortgage control.

Tenants Together hosts a monthly clinic in San Jose, CA on the 4th Thursday of every month at 6pm.

So my mom lives in an apartment complex she is now being evicted.the aprtment are in terrible condition.They have cockroaches bed bugs and its just terrible.so they had a a court not so long ago and they said that apartment where in good living conditions since most of the people who live in this complex only apeak spanish they are afraid to speak out.my mom was awarded $3,000 for bad living conditions but she has never recieved that money.now she recieved an eviction letter that she has to leave in 3 months.just this month a few people send their rents and have proof they send it and the l

I am a disabled widow on a fixed income whose been a victim of unethical predatory lending practices wronful foreclosure, which lead to my being forced to file Bankruptcy procedures and is currently facing Eviction "3 -Day Notice to Vacate" with no resouces or ability to attain instant housing with there being derrogatory and negative credit blacklisting on my credit file which prevented me from being able to obtain affordalbe housing anywhere !
I need legal assistance !

My husband and I moved into our house with our sons back in 2011. At the time of the walk through I had asked when the house would be cleaned as layers of dust covered the inside there was an obvious issue with mold in the master bath the and all the rooms with linoleum flooring had some kind of issue as the linoleum was not sealed at doors and so forth. They said it had been cleaned and no one was coming to clean again.

My leasing agent called me at the end of the 12 month lease. He placed a standard 8% increase and offered me to renew the lease for either 6 month or 12 months. I felt pressured. I resisted and said I'm going MTM (month to month). He said they don't offer month to month lease renewals, but he can do a 2 months lease. I said no. He said that they needed a commitment. He wanted to know why I didn't want to renew my lease. I said I didn't want to commit. Then came a different form of pressure - he stated "By signing a lease, the power is with you over us to prevent you from being vacated".

This is a senior's complex. We have fixed incomes. They used to increase the rent by $10 increments, now is $25.
I am 73 years old, I have been living here for 14 years and I always place my Christmas decorations during that time of the year.
Now, we have a new person under the tittle "property supervisor: and she took over the office of our Resource Coordinator and gave us 30-notice to remove all the "welcome" mats and any decoration.
Those decorations brighten our days, also represents our faith because we are Christians.

I have been living at this apartment for a little over 14 years.
We have different managers and different expectations.
We are seniors with fix income, however, the rent used to be increased by $10.00 increments, however, now, the increments are $25 (more than double)
The manager makes a lot of noise for the widow living below her (like taking showers after midnight)but she made the widow below her unit, to remove an American Flag she had on her patio.

i currently have a roommate who has physically attacked me, disrespects other roommates, has physically damaged the rental property, postures intimidatingly as if he may attack me again, constantly leaves food messes, runs drills and electric tools until 3 or 4 am, the landlord will do nothing because he and the landlords granddaughter have a child, now 3, together. The roommate and granddaughter are no longer together but the landlord does not want to do anything to lose her great granddaughter.
